Rytell in San Diego. Staying at the Surf hotel?

Sunday, March 9th, 2008
mco-rytell-sd.jpgYo what’s good everyone? So Saturday at 4 am I woke up and took a drive to the airport and spent all day in and out of airports. Finally 8 hours later I arrived in San Diego where Jackie picked me up from the airport.. We drove for a good 25 minutes and arrived at the surf hotel where I will be for 2 days.. I took it easy and chilled the first day with Jackie. Got some food and drinks and she showed me around. After that I came back and crashed! Next day I woke up and got right on my bike and went spot searching.. after a little ride Sean came and picked me up and we did a little filming haha. It was a good time. Thanks Sean! For now I have a pic and a little video I think everyone should check out! I will have a bike check in tomorrow some time, so look out for that!! Peace mo fos Rytell

Dave Mirra checks in with a new Rally update.

Friday, March 7th, 2008
mco-dm-rally1.jpgI just got home from a rally in Salem, Missouri and it was amazing. This was supposed to be my first gravel rally but it ended up snowing so I got a little more snow practice. I started in the 37th position out of 56 drivers and after 4 stages on Friday night I moved up to 17th overall. On Saturday we have 10 more stages starting first thing in the morning. mco-dm-rally3.jpgSo everything was going great, almost too good. By the end of the 13th stage, I had 11th overall locked up and all I had to do is finish. So what do I do, I over shoot a right 4 three miles into the last stage. Great. I hit a tree stump and the car was out of commission. So I dnf’d. At the end of the day it was another great experience so I will just have to wait for the next rally in April. mco-dm-rally5.jpgCheck out the photos. Take care, dm mco-dm-rally4.jpg mco-dm-rally2.jpg Photos by: Lars Gange | www.subaru.com/rally

Dave Rytell, A.T.L., and snow.

Wednesday, March 5th, 2008
mco-rytellatl.jpgMe, Johnny Devlin and Ricky Bates took a Shadow trip to A. T. L last week.. amazing! We started off the trip right going to a town that is haunted in Florida called Cassadega.. Johnny is against buying food so we had to go pick oranges off this tree next to an old shed that had pictures of passed away people and music notes all over the wall! Pretty wild and creepy! mco-rytell-snow.jpgAfter the pit stop we drove 6 hours to A. T. L.. We arrived to find snow on the ground! Crazy. I have not seen snow in like 8 years.. All in all the trip was amazing other than my shoulder popping out and crushing my finger nail ripping half of it off! Sweet right? mco-rytell-creepy.jpg I’m doing good now, just chillin’ getting ready for my next trip to SO CAL this weekend to the Mirraco office! I’m so excited… most of this week will be me chillin’ on my new mac book that Mirraco got me! Badass! Another thanks to Jim Ford, Mirra, Sean, Mike Russell the man! Happy birthday to him! Jean-Luc and Jackie! I will see you people soon.. -RYTELL-
