2009 Mirraco Manual magazine

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008
mco-2009-magalog.jpgThis year’s Mirraco catalog is one of those cool magazines again. Next to presenting the 2009 Mirraco complete bike line with all its spec and gometry, the Mirraco Manual Magazine has interviews with Mike Laird, Ken Block, Jerry Badders, Nigel Sylvester, Alessandro Barbero and tons of other stories that will interest you. Your local Mirraco dealer should have a copy available for you so next time you step into the dealership, ask about it.

Huge Hugh is stepping it up

Monday, September 29th, 2008
mco-hugh-tuck-no-hander.jpgmco-hugh-2-Woodward.jpgDear MirraCo.,   Thank you for supporting Huge Hugh with the sweet deal on the Project 16 through our local bike shop, Hall Bicycle in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He is really looking forward to moving up to it from his Apprentice 12 when it arrives. As you know from the previous time you posted about him he won the Oakley Ride Search in BMX ridding the Apprentice 12. Now, back from the Grand Prize week at Woodward here is the video of his week there and attached are some photos from the trip if you want to post them on the site. Hugh says: “I had fun at Camp Woodward. I did a tire grab, worked on a tuck no-hander, and landed a wall ride for the very first time.” Thanks again, Hugh, Rollin & Theresa Banderob

mco-spinner-clip.jpgIf you want to see how the pros ride on a daily basis you should watch the video that was recently posted on the Shred Or Die website. Austin Coleman joins Greenville locals Ryan Guettler and Mike Spinner for a session at the Animal house, Dave Mirra’s private indoor park. 720-s and double whips like it’s nothing, a few crashes left and ride, but having a good time all the time. BMX Plus! November 2008.

Saturday, September 27th, 2008
mco-plus-nigel-bc.jpgmco-plus-laird.jpgThe November issue of BMX Plus! just dropped on the doormat. Next to Mike Laird doing a tailwhip-180 in the Mirraco ad the issue has a good number of pics of Mirraco riders in there. Mike Spinner gets a full page sequence from the Cleveland Dew Tour where he pulled that Quad Tailwhip for the first time in a contest. Gotta love these fast digital camera’s. It took 16 photos to show the trick. There are a few podium shots from the same comp with Guettler and Spinner on them. Congrats. Plus! is running a 720 How-to, performed and explained by Mike Spinner. Then Nigel Sylvester and Mike Spinner receive a bike check each. Guettler’s and Mirra’s signature shoes make it in the Fall Product section and to finish it off Nigel Sylvester gets a two-page photo doing a barspin-180 over a gap. Thanks to the BMX Plus! crew for the love. mco-plus-spinner.jpg mco-plus-nigel.jpg

Next to poker activities you can check out the Black Label Mirraco parts, the new Wallstreet complete bike, the 18 inch Black Pearl and a few more models. Maxime’s hunt for the FIAT

Monday, September 22nd, 2008
mco-maxime-handplant.jpgThe 2008 FISE Experience series is coming to an end next weekend. The French contest series had a big prize up for grabs before the contest series started; a FIAT car. Mirraco rider Maxime Charveron is in the lead going into the last contest to be held in Marseille from 3-5 October 2009. For sure he won’t be driving off as he does not have his drivers license yet but winning a car would be sweet anyway. Good luck Max!
