Maxime Charveron, Nigel Sylvester and Mike Spinner received an invitation by Nike to go to China for the Lightning Bolts number plate art show and an Olympic NIKE presentation. The three Mirraco riders rode a street set up that was built inside a giant tank.
Later towards the evening
Eddie Fiola and
Brian Blyther joined the session in the abandoned petroleum tank in the 798 Arts District of Beijing. Seeing as these riders were two of the pioneers of BMX freestyle it’s fair to say that the New School met the Old School in China.
