Nigel finishes 7th at the Dubai X-Games
If you would have said that Nigel Sylvester was going to make finals at the X-Games a year ago, people would have thought you were crazy. But with the street course changing from Park towards Real Street, riders like Nigel have a chance to compete. Competing is not a word in Nigel’s head that comes up a lot and if it wasn’t for the Red Bull contest a few months ago, Nigel’s last contest was a LONG time ago.

It was hot during the street finals and the same system was in place. 2 groups of 5 rode at three different parts of the course for 8 minutes. The three areas were judged and counted for 1/3rd of the total score. The A-frame consisted of rails, the Euro gap had a step up and the last section involved rails, steps, and ledges.
When all was said and done Nigel finished 7th after doing smith grinds down the ledge, 360-s to flat, barspins like they’re nothing and more street style tricks that he now brought to the X-Games course.
