Yo what’s up ? Just to let everyone know in the off season I’ve been building a pretty sick dirt bike. If you’ve ever ridden a dirt bike you know what I’m talking about. It is an addiction. It’s kind of funny when I think of what I do on a bmx to get excited and what I do on a dirt bike to get stoked. On a dirt bike if I lean the slightest off the lip I get so pumped. Pretty funny, huh? Anyways, check out the pic.

Nike is getting their feet into the BMX market in a cool way. They support a cool team, they make good kicks and they do sweet trips. Mirraco riders Mike Spinner and Nigel Sylvester are on the NIKE pro program and most recently they went on a trip to Atlanta to gather some more photos and video footage. You can see some of the pictures on their profile on the NIKE 6.0 site. Search for BMX, then search for Nigel and Mike. Feel Meeee!!!

All of use have been building and riding every day out at the Apopka house.. Ronnie from the Shadow Conspiracy gave all the Roots ramps to Matt, the kid that owns the house. If anyone remembers going to Roots you know how badass the ramps are!

We have been building for about a 5 weeks now but we can’t help but to ride it! And on the other side of the yard is going to be 4 sets of trails. It’s going to be amazing! Thanks to Mike Cottle out there digging every day. Mike is getting donations for the clay from the shop he works at (obmx.com check it out…).

Street downtown has been changing up here and there which is amazing. New stuff to ride is always fun….. and the colder weather helps a lot.. Everyone get to Florida for the nice weather and the new years party at the APK house. Anyone’s welcome… Catfish should be making sure everyone is having an amazing time….. I will send an update of it..

The latest addition to the Mirraco program goes by the name of Maxime Charveron. The 17 year old French shredder recently participated at the Dubai X-Games and WatchBMX made a little clip around Maxime’s trip to the U.A.E.. Other riding in the clip comes from Aaron Ross, Garrett Reynolds, Brad Simms, Gary Young, Brian Kachinski, Mark Vos and a few others. If you’re into real street you’ll dig this video even if it’s called the X-Games.

I’ll start off by saying that my off-season had been going pretty well up to about a week ago. After 10 years, I’ve relearned 720s…. Yes, I said 10 years. 1997 was the year I pulled my first 720. I only had 7s for about 6 monthes or so, but anyways….. There’re back!

For a short recap, I injuried my thumb last year in my industrial accident with a beltsander. In my accident I totally lost my thumb nail. So about a week ago, my thumb started to get red and swell. Days later, my painful thumb developed alittle pus head on the surface. My wife popped the head and the amount of green and bloody pus that came out of my thumb was unbelievable.

Two days later I was seeing my old plastic surgeon. Dr. Rizzuti had me at the edge of my seat, with two quick shots and a half-inch slice down the side of my thumb. He had to cut me open to drain the 5 day infection. So, I’m out for a couple of weeks.

But its no big deal, x-mas time is here and I’m going down to hang with my parents in sunnydale Florida for the holidays. See you guys in 2008!

When Italian Mirraco rider Alessandro Barbero crashed at the LG Action Sports championships in Texas and broke his collarbone, it couldn’t have come at a better time. It was at the end of a long 2007 season and gave the Ceva local some mandatory rest. But like every rider Alessandro doesn’t like to be in that position, especially when you still have to miss out on a few exotic contests and shows. It seems like an off-season doesn’t really exist for the Mirraco rider who always has tricks on his mind that he wants to learn.

2008 is around the corner and Alessandro has been pimping his Black Pearl so it’s ready for him when the doctor gives the okay to ride again. Alessandro has registered for the Simpel Session contest in Estonia to be held at the end of January 2008. He should have some new tricks again by that time. Get well Ale.

Dubai X-Games street movies have been popping up on the internet and we thought we’d give you a few links so you can see Mirraco riders Nigel Sylvester and Maxime Charveron in action. Video producer Glenn Milligan was out there also, filming for NIKE, so keep an eye out for that one too as both Nigel and Maxime are on the Nike 6.0 program.

Hey what’s up guys,

I’ve been busy, busy, busy.

Where to start?

We have been working on the ramp again making it bigger and better. I’ll send photos soon.

I’m in LA right now doing an Alpinestars photo shoot and to see Jerry Badders @ Vans also to check out the new Vans office. I was in there today working on my ‘09 shoes and making a new look for the shoe box. Should look really cool, it’s all working around my tats. The Alpinestars photo shoot was really cool it was me, Kevin Kiraly and we rode Ben Snowden’s house because Nate Wessel just built a lot of stuff which flows really cool.

Been riding a lot, mostly at Dave’s warehouse. Learned a lot of new stuff which I’m pumped on. Also put my seat up a bit so iI can spin the bars again.

Also put up the Christmas lights around the house and got a real tree. Put up stockings even a little one for dagger if he’s lucky he might get a bone.

Today iI worked out with Jerry that me and some mates will be putting on a bmx camp next April 3rd and 4th at a comp in Orlando at the Vans sk8 park.
