Ryan Guettler finishes second at “Brawling at the Belmar” dirt comp.

mco-guettler-fbm-comp.jpgLast weekend the FBM crew held an old school style King Of Dirt called Brawling at the Belmar. It’s the weekend before X-Games and Ryan Guettler decided to hang with the boys, do some double flips and big tricks.

Here’s a little write up about Ryan from the FBMBMX.com website:

mco-guettler-fbm-comp-front.jpgEqually amazing as winner Brian Foster was Ryan Guettler, who by far did the biggest tricks of the contest, but didn’t pull everything, narrowly putting him in second. It’s pretty cool to see Ryan show up, do double flips, the craziest shit, work on the lip, hang out with everyone, and just have a good time.

Thanks to FBM/Kyle Opitz for the pics/text.

Day 2 X-games. By Dave Mirra

mco-dave-x2.jpgThe second day of practice didn’t go as well for me as I was anticipating. I had high expectations after day one and I had a whole list of things I wanted to do but after like twenty minutes of riding I slammed real hard on a double whip from quarter to wedge.

It was one of the things where you’re riding towards the ramp and a trick pops in your head last minute. Oh well, to say the least it kinda dampered my session.

The riders to watch this year is Daniel Dhers (he’s a serious machine), Dennis Enerson (can you believe he’s only 16 yrs. Old?), Garrett Reynolds (he’s dialed and has a real good chance for podium).

Remember this is only after 2 days of practice so we’ll see tomorrow if anyone steps it up.

Peace
