In 2006 Ryan Guettler received an invite to ride the Red Bull Elevation contest in Whistler, Canada. Due to a crash that resulted in a concussion at the first stop of the 2006 Dew tour in Kentucky, Ryan never made it to Canada. Things aren’t looking good for 2007 either: You see, he left the house with fellow Greenville riders at 3am to go to the airport only to find out that he forgot his passport. He drove all the way back to Greenville to pick up his passport and bought a new flight to Vancouver. For whatever reason this flight got canceled so he drove the two hours back to Greenville to spend the night in his own bed. Traveling is not always fun.
