Mirraco Miniramp jamAfter the Skate57 session at Hackettstown last night, we crashed hard to sleep…woke up and headed out towards Parsippany, NJ. to attend the Mirra Co. Jam @ Cycle Craft Bike Shop. They had a 5ft mini set up in the back and kids were shreddin it all morning non stop. I heard some people showed up at 6 a.m.! Those people won the farmers tan contest no doubt!

Mirraco Miniramp jam at Cycle Craft bikeshopLater on in the morning, Dave Mirra rolls in! Everyone excited to meet him! I def. was beyond psyched. Mike Russell walked me over to introduce me to Dave..and ya know something…no matter how grown up you get, you never forget your idols..I was not ashamed to be a little bashful! Dave is the first person I ever seen boss a BMX bike on a old school video and the riding stuck in my head along with the name…It was def. a pleasure to hang out today with my top inspiration!

Mike Russell and Al-DTowards the afternoon they started a little contest on the ramp, I just wanted to ride with my friends so I popped in that, kids were shreddin it and it made for a really good time!

Mike Fede won 500$ and a Blend 3 Mirra Co. frame…he was def. psyched because I talked him out of going to a contest today that we were expected to be at. I get a text message every 5 seconds saying thanks Al D. for making me go there today! haha…I love Fede Cent… Good job bro, you shredded it!

Al-D had a good dayAfter the riding and prize handouts, Mirra signed some autographs and said thanks & goodbye to everyone for coming out!

I like to say thanks to Mike Russell, Dave Mirra, & Mirra Co. management for making it a great day! Check out the pictures & stay tuned for more action here on BMX Invasion.com!!!

Congrats once again to Mike Fede!!

Thanks again to Dave Mirra & Mirra Co.

Local Exposure Tour 4 Update (A West Coast state of mind) by Gator

Tuesday, April 24th, 2007

LET4Yo whats up guys this is Gator from the road on the Local Exposure Tour 4. We left about a week ago from North Carolina and landed in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Thursday. I then met up with Rob Wise and Mirra Co. sales manager Mike Russell and went out to ABC Bike Shop a local dealer. After Rob and I took a few laps around with custom bikes made by the mechanics it was time to meet up with everyone back at the hotel.

LET4After a night of catching up with old friends and meeting a few new ones we hit the park up for the first demo where the locals owned the place. (Editors note: Chase Hawk goes really high and Dave Rytell will ride anything in his way and kill it.).

LET4After a small photo session it was time to pack up and head to Mesa, Arizona. The second stop had about 300 kids on bikes and locals hucking it. One local that stood out was Jonny Stevens that actually ended up winning stop three. Stop 3 was my favorite stop so far. This park was on an Indian reservation and had dirt jumps that KC Badger built. Mike Laird foot jammed this 5 ft. subrail out of a 5 ft. quarter. Rob Wise and I had a good session on the dirt where later Rytell joined us.

LET4You can catch extra photos on Vitalbmx. Well I am out, check back soon for more pics and crazy stories from L.E.T. 4.

1LOV, GATOR

PS: All of us here at Mirra Co. would like to send our condolences to all the victims and families at Virginia Tech.
