Matt Colisch put the Mirraco Black Pearl 3 through the test for RIDEBMX magazine. The April 2007 issue has the report on the test and the Black Pearl got rated a 9.0 by the test force. Some of the strong points of the bike were: “The dialed, full-chromoly frame and the out-of-the-box dialed brakes. The bars were not a pain for once with a test bike…….. That was a first in a really long time [laughs]. The front wheel was amazing and held together really well, and the back wheel stayed pretty straight; I only had to true it up once after riding.” stated Matt Colisch.
