Mirraco hotline in France

Monday, January 8th, 2007
T-shirt logoWe understand it’s frustrating if you want something but you don’t know where to get it. They don’t offer it where you live and don’t have any information when it will arrive. If you live in France, you now have a number you can dial for all Mirraco related questions. We’re working hard on making the bikes, frames, T-shirts, sweatshirts, catalogs and Mirraco stickers available worldwide but starting this company from the ground up takes time. Bear with us, give us some time, tell your local dealer to stock Mirraco and keep your fingers crossed. All French dealers and riders can start calling Yannick at: 06Â 78 95 30 07 Thanks for your interest.

Ryan Guettler down under update

Friday, January 5th, 2007
Guettler Signed Black PearlGotta have wheelsRyan Guettler recently saw his first Mirraco Black Pearl LTD bike in Australia at the Mirraco dealer, Helensvale Cyclescene on the Gold Coast. Mitch who runs the store, asked if Ryan could sign the bike for them & he happily obliged. Ryan has also recently bought himself a nice little run around car whilst here in Australia. A 5.7L Holden Monaro, black of course!! Imagine the car here but in black… not bad for a run around car while back home for a few months ! Ryan found his signature bike in a bike shopRyan Guettler & the whole Colony team (Dave Freimuth, Pete Radivo, Kenny Raggett, Nick Richardson, Haimona Ngata & myself - Clint Millar) will be in Sydney for the BMX Games after we hit up the Spinal Disorder in Beenleigh later this month. We all then head over to NZ for a tour of the south island for a week before going to X-Air in Wellington. Should be a great month of riding & travelling & all will be documented on a tour DVD as well as stories in both Ride UK & 2020BMX. The DVD will be released around June this year. Dave Mirra on the internet

Friday, January 5th, 2007
Dave Mirra feeling good at the warehouseWhen Dave Mirra started MirraCo Bikes about a year ago he created another platform on the internet, the mirrabikeco.com site. Dave did not want to be put on a pedestal and wanted his fellow team riders to shine as much as himself. That does not mean that Dave has become invisible on the internet. We have found a few sites that have all kind of information on “The Mirracle Boy”. Some need some serious updating and others have some wrong information so don’t believe everything you read. Here’s a selection: - A timeline of Dave’s career on 23Mag - Dave’s results and info on a fairly well updated Wikipedia page

Yoyo Mike on the MICMike Spinner: Well last week I just got back from Vegas where I had ton of fun. Rode a bunch of skateparks I had never been to before, that was awsome. Stayed in some really nice hotels. LAS VEGAS IS just awesome, the atmosphere is 24-7 poppin’. Other than that, vitalbmx.com just put up an interview that is pretty funny. No action for this bike in the next few weeksMike Laird: Got an 80 gb ipod video (black) for X-mas, I had shrimp for dinner two nights ago, playing SOCOM fireteam bravo 2 online for the PSP almost every night (EyesOfTheDead my screen name). Been working on ramps for the JC park (Greenville), I’ve been riding Mirra’s half finished new bikepark ……a lot. (P.s Laird just broke both hands trying to flip a cement bank on street. A broken finger on his left hand and a bone broken in his right hand. He goes into surgery tomorrow. Get well soon Mike…. love, Gator, lol……) Dave Rytell bike checkDave Rytell: The new noise is that I am back on my bike again. My wrist is way better and I just got done filming a video for vitalbmx. It should be up pretty soon. And I have no phone because I am a broke bitch hahaha.. Happy New year from Michael ClevelandMike Cleveland: I had a good Christmas, I got to hang out with my mom all day on christmas eve. Did the whole X-mas thing with my family on Christmas, then the fun began. The day after Christmas, myself and 4 of my friends drove up to Colorado to hang out with one of our really good friends. We got to go snowboarding a bunch and I slid a whole grind rail on a little plastic sled that we found in the bushes. This trip was really good because it was nice to get out of town for a little while and hang out with some really good friends. Nigel: If you’re out there, hit your bot back with some news…… Ryan Guetler: Ryan has been busy riding with the locals in Australia and enjoying the warm weather. He also just got back from a camping trip on the New Year. Dave MirraDave Mirra: Just got back from New York from the New year. I was on the phone with him earlier and all we could talk about was the big plans for ‘07. So keep your eyes open….. Gator: I just got back from West Palm Beach. The holidays were good and the family is still kickin. LOL…. I went to a new Years party at Nyquist’s house. I also finally got a New Years kiss by Jen, and it was sweet. Besides that, just been riding and thinking about new things for Mirra Co. in ‘07. P.S Happy New Year from all of us at Mirra Co……
