I’m all the way behind this too. I spent a whole month up in Wisconsin on vacation….not being able to ride because the skatepark there didn’t allow BMXers. They said that the local BMXers had been “over-running” the place…I looked all around the town and didn’t see one single BMX bike. I almost died!!!! I just sat there every day and watched the skateboarders…no fun. :( Then later in the next month I traveled over to the next closest city where there was a skatepark that allowed ONLY BMX bikes…I loooooooved it!!! It’s so wrong to not let the BMXers in. live2ride bmx4life!!!!!

thats so right i moved to a small town 1 year ago and it suckz when you cant get into the parks and since my towns small has 3 small parks and none of them allow any bikes at all

i got so sick of this that eventually it turned i had to try and make the ramps as much as i enjoyed bikin in my own backyard it just didnt feel right

so 6 months later i was fed up so eventually i had to write a letter 2 the council after numerous amount of letters all being rejected i decided to do a petition so me and mah m8z got some people to sign some papers and 2000 signatures later we have bmx park!!!!

so i think this is great get people into the sport

They tried that where I live with park they built. When they were planning it, they would hold town meetings looking for input for designs and guess who mostly showed up. Bike riders! We had a big hand in designing it and then they werr going to turn around and not let us ride there, but we did away with that and I think the town thought it would be a loss of money if they didnt let us in. Now, they have skate days and bike days and sometimes both, but its funny, on skate days, no one shows but bike days. Its always packed. Kind of makes you say HMMMMMM!
