Just returned from rainy Sydney, Australia to meet with dealers and introduce the Mirraco line in Australia as well as to a few dealers from New Zealand. Our distributors there are doing a great job getting the brand rolling. They invited dealers to their facility and had plenty of sample bikes on display. There was a Mirraco presentation, some drinks, and a dinner afterwards. The response was great and dealers are now placing orders and preparing for the arrival of bikes in early October. For those of you visiting our site that live in Australia or New Zealand, you can check with your local dealers to see if they will be carrying Mirraco. If not, tell them they should! Also, rumor has it Ryan Guettler may be doing some traveling in Australia late this year or early in 2007. If so, we’ll try to give you a heads-up on when and where here on the Mirraco site. Last but not least, some lucky guy is also going to land a job with our distributor in Sydney taking care of Mirraco down there. The search is on for someone who knows BMX inside and out, has worked in a retail store, and who wants a job in the industry representing Mirraco. It’s pretty cool that the introduction of Mirraco is already starting to create new jobs worldwide for riders. It’s also happening in England, Sweden, and a few other countries.
