Ryan qualifies in first at Dew tour in San JoseOnce again Mirraco’s Ryan Guettler went out there and “won qualifying” at a Dew Tour stop. It doesn’t mean much but he proved that he still has it by qualifying first out of 30 amazing riders. The course in San Jose has a bunch of hips and one “big jump” at the end. Ryan has shown 720-s over the hip and double whips on the last set. Wish him luck in the finals.

Mirra commentOn this website we filter through the comments that get sent. We will pass anything that’s worth hearing about but believe it, or not, we are already getting spammed and there’s no place for viagra and mortgage ads on this site. Occasionally people send in stuff we really like. This is an example:
Mirra has been the shit forever, since he was killing it on the front wheel back in the day, just remember every kid these days has everything more clicked then Aitken or Hawk, that’s not original or progression. When you get paid to ride you gotto push the sport. Lookbacks and Style tricks can be seen at your local park. Imagine 11 years of X-games with turnsdowns and 180s over the box, not to mention everyone trying to look like girls. With the progression in light bikes, and foamparks for kids, getting good on a bike is becoming easier. This is why guys like Cranmer and Garret Reynolds are so young which hasn’t proved anything. Kids will take over and they will have to prove themselves. Mirra’s been on top for as long as I can remember, and every year he proves himself and pushes the sport to the next level. Dave is over 30, and still killing it. In the next few years it would be nice to see him travel the world to hit up all the spots, hit up Canada, the World’s, get more coverage in Props, just not think so much about competing! I like to see that side of him in his riding! Maybe even prove that he’s not a machine. It’s time to crack open the beers after a session! Peace+Respect just somebmxguy…

News on Mirraco availability if you’re living in the USA.

Mirraco US availability infoIf you are in the US, we can tell you that bikes have been available to pre-order for over a month. Some models of bikes will be hitting the US stores in the next 7-10 days and other models will continue to arrive on a weekly basis as they become available. Also, anybody who tells you that they have one or have ridden one is stretching the truth a bit unless they are a team rider. The only people who have ridden Mirraco frames are Mirraco team riders.
